Future Earth at the American Geophysical Union 2019 Annual Meeting
This year the American Geophysical Union annual meeting returns to California, from December 9 through 13, at the newly renovated Moscone Center. Join Future Earth in San Francisco as AGU celebrates its centennial and brings together a diverse community of Earth and space scientists – including many of our Global Research Projects, Knowledge-Action Networks, and partners – during the largest international Earth and space science meeting in the world.

The World Climate Research Programme (WCRP), a partner of Future Earth, will celebrate its 40th Anniversary with WCRP Climate Science Week and the WCRP 40th Anniversary Symposium on Sunday December, 8. Registration is free. Access the full list of WCRP sessions at AGU, one of which is being convened by PMIP, which is endorsed by PAGES and WCRP.

Two active PAGES members will be honored. PAGES 2k Network Iso2k project leader Bronwen Konecky will receive the Nanne Weber Early Career Award in the Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology Section and PALSEA working group leader Jacqueline Austermann will receive the Jason Morgan Early Career Award in the Tectonophysics Section. PAGES congratulates them both for this outstanding recognition of their work.
