Science Briefs
Future Earth Global Research Network bioDISCOVERY, together with the secretariat of GEO BON, convened a group of international experts, including some from the Earth Commission, to prepare a series of science briefs to support the negotiations for the new Global Biodiversity Framework of the Convention on Biological Diversity. Explore them below.
The briefs published in June 2022 were compiled in an information documents for WG2020-04 and a briefing note for the expert workshop on the monitoring framework held in Bonn, Germany in Summer 2022.
Other Work
The Global Land Programme, a Global Research Network of Future Earth, convened 50 leading land use scientists who developed a study, “Ten facts about Land Systems for Sustainability”, as a call to action for policymakers working to develop sustainable and equitable solutions for our most urgent global challenges.
