It provides a platform for broad consultation and enables the full community to participate in the development of Future Earth core agenda, strategies, activities and structures through an annual gathering. It also elects the Governing Council<\/a>, which prioritizes ideas and activities and enables the Global Secretariat to serve the community and carry out actions to help Future Earth reach its goals and fulfill its mission. \u00a0The Future Earth Assembly has been established in 2021 and will meet once a year.<\/p>\n The 2023 Assembly<\/a> meeting took place online and in Panama 29-30 June 2023.<\/p>\n The Future Earth Assembly and Governing Council Terms of Reference are available here<\/a>.
