Ajaya Dixit

Mr Ajaya Dixit, currently the Executive Director of the Institute for Social and Environmental Transition (ISET – Nepal), Kathmandu, has an MSc in Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Orissa, India. Previously, Mr Dixit held positions at Institute of Engineering, Kathmandu, and Nepal Water for Health, among others. He has published extensively in prestigious journals such as the Economic and Political Weekly, the most recent of which are publications about Climate Change Vulnerabilities and Ecosystem-based Adaptation. His research interests include Water economics, Irrigation, Hydro-electricity and related engineering and Energy; Dams and reservoirs, Disaster risk management, Mainstreaming climate resilience, Climate change adaptation and Climate change vulnerability among others.
