Future Earth Members Among 2023 Intake of International Science Council Fellows
The International Science Council (ISC) has appointed 100 new Fellows to help advance its vision of science as a global public good. A number of current and former Future Earth members are among those chosen. The ISC says the Fellowship is the highest honor that can be conferred on an individual by its organization. The new Fellows, together with the 123 individuals who were appointed in 2022, which also included Future Earth community members, will support ISC’s mission at a critical moment for science and sustainability.
The ISC says:
“The new Fellows include eminent social and natural scientists, engineers and thought leaders who have made impactful contributions to science and society. They hail from different countries and regions, disciplines, sectors and career stages; having been nominated by ISC Members and existing Fellows, and by partners such as the InterAcademy Partnership.”
ISC is a custodian organization of Future Earth.
