Xiao Lu
Associate Director, China Hub
Xiao is an Associate Professor at the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), Zhuhai, China. He obtained his PhD in Climatology from Peking University in July 2019, and then joined Harvard University as a postdoc researcher. He joined SYSU in May 2021, and is currently the leader of the Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Modeling Group. Xiao and his group studies the fate of greenhouse gas and atmospheric pollutants and their effects on ecosystem and climate change, integrating suborbital and satellite observations and global-to-regional atmospheric chemical models. He has published more than 70 research articles. He joined Future Earth in October 2022 at Global Hub China.
